--------- In a Nordic soundscape where organic textures and occasional electronic elements are allowed to merge, Danish folk duo Flokk moves in the space between the intimate and the grand. Their songs strive to capture the moments that might otherwise disappear, allowing them to live on through music. For Flokk, music is something that brings people together and creates connections -- a place where individuals become a flock. This is exactly what they aim to create when they perform LIVE. Flokk consists of Jonas Dammeyer and Anders Amundsen -- two musicians with deep roots in acoustic music. Their musical inspirations span a wide range, but they have always shared a fascination with folk music and the space that emerges when stories are told through an organic soundscape. Inspired by artists such as Bon Iver, Teitur, Ásgeir and Susanne Sundfør, the duo strives to create songs that feel alive, intimate and immediate. --------- bree is king is a new Danish group formed by frontwoman Bree and four musicians with a long-standing musical collaboration behind them. bree is king's mission is to challenge boundaries -- how we are expected to look, how we are expected to sound, and, not least, what other people think of us. Their goal is to create honest and uncompromising music within a strong creative community. Their music ranges from harmonica and saxophone to the hardest-hitting 808 bass. It refuses to fit neatly into any one box. Backed by a full band, Bree's soulful vocals fill the songs with raw and honest lyrics, a strong melodic universe, and a story about taking ownership of your own life and your own choices. Just around the corner is the band's debut project, consisting of five songs. The release is created as a visual mixtape -- a short film that follows Bree's family in the US, the band, and the story told through the songs as a whole.
