About this event

The Meffs have been making their mark on the British punk scene since 2019 with short, hard-hitting songs, catchy riffs and lyrics addressing political and social issues. The duo consists of Lily Hopkins on guitar and vocals and Lewis Copsey on drums, and their intense live shows in particular have helped propel them onto increasingly bigger stages. In 2022, The Meffs released the first part of 'Broken Britain', followed by the second part the following year. Both EPs were produced by Frank Turner and released on Bottles to the Ground, the label founded by NOFX frontman Fat Mike. 2023 was a busy year, with extensive touring across the UK and Europe. Along the way, The Meffs joined NOFX for several shows on their farewell tour and appeared at both Download Festival and Rebellion Festival. Their collaboration with Frank Turner continued on their 2024 debut album 'What A Life'. The Meffs stick to their direct punk sound while giving the songs more room to breathe. The result is British punk rock with strong melodies, political bite and plenty of momentum.
